Rev. Elijah & Winnie Musoke

Winnie & Elijah are happily married with two biological children; Jemimah  and Jason and they are ordained ministers who served their church for 15 years in pastoral work before starting Living Hope Uganda. They founded this Ministry in 2006 with a vision of Changing Lives and Transforming comunities in Uganda and beyond.

Throughout his life Elijah struggled and suffered a lot. He was poisoned by a Co-wife to his Aunt when he was 4 years, he was kidnapped and survived child-sacrifice at 6 years. His father denied and rejected him because of his dark-skinned color. When he was a teenager of 14 years, while his father threatened to kill him he wanted to take his life by suicide. Bud God called him by his name in the dream to go to the pastor who introduced him to Christ. He promised God if he would grow up and is able to help others, he will help them. He is passionate about reaching the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Elijah holds a Bachelors of Education in which he majored in History and Divinity/Religion from the University of Makerere in Uganda. He also holds two College degrees in Theology and Ministry, both from Glad Tidings Bible College of Kampala, Uganda, East Africa.

Elijah worked as High school teacher for 5 years before he left for his calling as a full time minister. He Pioneered the founding of New Hope Orphanage School -2002-2004. He worked as an associate pastor of a 700 seater church in Uganda. He does Bricks laying and piggery farming to support his family and ministry. His wife Winnie is an active member of Living Hope Uganda and gifted song writer and founding president of Mama Africa The Voice Uganda where she reaches out to Homeless street Children, empowers widows and single mother with life time skills.

Elijah and Winnie are the lead pastors of City Life Church, Buloba and Directors of Living Hope Orphanage/Junior Academy in Mityana. Our hearts' desire is to see under-privileged in Uganda affording a smile on their faces.
