COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT

This project supports a women's association under LHU in Uganda in addressing the humanitarian needs of its community, with special attention on women and children.

Project Needs and Beneficiaries

Women and Children living in rural areas of Uganda.

Many of these women have no jobs so they find it hard to care for their families. Many of these women are single mothers without any extra support to uplift their lives. LHU women association enables many women in rural areas to create self sustaing projects like soap making , candel making and poultry farming

Potential Long Term Impact

In the long term this project aims to improve and develop rural communities in Uganda, with a particular emphasis on women and children.
